Emetack ICT Training Centre Construction Project

Every year, thousands of young people in Uganda complete school with talent, ambition, and dreams, yet many never receive the practical skills needed to secure employment or create businesses of their own. Poverty, limited educational facilities, and lack of access to technology continue to prevent many from reaching their full potential.

Emetack was created to change that reality.

What began in a single rented room in Masaka in 2019 has grown into one of Uganda's emerging practical ICT training centres, empowering students through software development, web design, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital entrepreneurship, and technology innovation.

Today, our greatest challenge is no longer attracting students.

It is finding enough space to train them.

We are seeking USD 60,000 to construct classrooms, student hostels, computer laboratories, and innovation spaces that will enable thousands more young people to access life-changing education.

This proposal invites donors, investors, companies, governments, development agencies, foundations, volunteers, universities, and individuals around the world to become partners in building a future where opportunity is available to every young person, regardless of where they were born.

The Challenge

Demand for practical ICT education continues to increase every year. Students travel from many districts across Uganda hoping to study at Emetack. Unfortunately, available space has become the greatest obstacle. Current classrooms cannot accommodate growing demand.

There are no student hostels for learners travelling from distant communities. Many talented young people are turned away—not because they lack ability, but because there simply is not enough room. No student should lose their future because a classroom has not yet been built.

The Project

The Emetack Construction Project will establish a permanent learning environment capable of serving thousands of students for generations.

The project includes:

5. Digital Learning Centre

7. Student Collaboration Spaces

Why This Project Matters

This project is about much more than constructing buildings.
